One year later, we look back

"We thought the world had forgotten about us." These words remind us of the tremendous impact of Typhoon Haiyan in Central Visayas, Philippines this time last year. With your support, we were there for 17,000 animals and the communities who depend on them. Over the last year, your support helped us equip mobile veterinary units to reach remote villages, map high-risk areas, create evacuation plans for farm animals and rebuild animal shelters with removable roofs. You moved the world to remember that we are there to help in disasters when communities and the animals they depend on need it the most. Read Canada's own Scott Cantin's reports from the field on our Disaster Management blog.
